The primary mission here is to correct errors in reporting news coming out of Iran - specifically the erroneous photograph circulating around the world of Neda Agha Soltan - the Face of the Revolution. Please help correct this wrong. The woman shown in the image is not Neda Agha Soltan. We welcome any posts relating to corrections that should be made, with the aim of enhancing the truth in reporting. Community monitoring is welcome.

This is NOT Neda Soltan
This is NOT Neda Soltan, the girl who died on the streets of Tehran on Saturday - 20th June 2009. If anyone has a photo of Neda Agha Soltan - please submit it here and to all media outlets.
I, Amy Beam, whose blog is copied here must make one important correction. I have spoken to Neda Soltani after writing this blog and she stresses that it was NOT her who made a translation from Farsi to English and posted it under her photo. So it was someone else, but it's been removed and now I cannot retrace who did it, but that is really not so important. Neda who is very much alive and worried BEGS the world to remove her photo and respect her privacy.
